Villa Alabastro is a 400 square metres house, set on two floors.
Ground floor: Living room with stone fireplace, large frescoed drawing room, dining room with an impressive crystal table, library, twin bedded room with joinable beds, bathroom with shower. Both kitchen and living room discharge onto a terrace, shaded by a wisteria. Terrace is equipped with table, chairs and comfortable sofas and chairs.
First floor: It's reached via a stone and wrought iron staircase. A corridor heads to 2 double bedrooms, master bedroom has a four poster bed. A second corridor opens up to 2 twin/double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with tub and shower and 1 bathroom with shower. Up to 3 extra beds can be added in bedrooms.
All furniture has a very romantic appeal and rooms have antique pieces.
Villa Alabastro is ideally located in an area close to many interesting tourist attractions. The ancient hamlet of Fabbrica was originally founded in the medieval times. It lays on hilltop, 150 metres above the sea level. Its highest point is La Torre (the tower) A short drive leads to Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Versilia beaches. The house, just a few minutes on foot from the village, was built in 19° century and restoration maintained its original structure even though offering all modern comforts. A beautiful garden of 900 m, with two imposing lime trees, is on the back of the house and can be reached by a flight of stone steps. Behind it, protected by a tufa wall, there is a large swimming pool (12 x 4 metres). It enjoys a superb view over the famous Etruscan town of Volterra. This accommodation boasts a great terrace with dining facilities and a sitting area, tastefully furnished.
